Three formal partnerships shape what’s possible when you work with Cowcentric. Each partnership was chosen because it adds something to your business and allows Cowcentric to bring a real difference to your business.
Galebreaker — ventilation
Officially affiliated consultant. Livestock accommodation ventilation offers unique challenges with poor farm building design and inadequate ventilation creating issues for livestock all year round. Cowcentric and Galebreaker work closely with farmers to provide effective, customised solutions from side-curtains to ridge openings and inlet systems which can turn a poorly aired shed into a comfortable one. As an affiliated consultant, Cowcentric can assess, specify and project-manage installations.
RoMS — mobility scoring
Registered with the Registry of Mobility Scorers. Independent, audited mobility scoring is one of the most cost-effective dairy welfare interventions there is. We do four scoring rounds a year on retainer farms, on request, with the results sent through using the RoMS scoring system to create and ‘living’ to-do list for hoof trimmers and farmers alike. Assessing cow mobility score is just the start and we actively engage with farmers, foot trimmers and vets to offer insight and solutions to on-farm challenges.
Kingshay — Dairy Costings
Dairy Manager partner. Kingshay Dairy Manager calculates the herd’s cost of production and benchmarks it against hundreds of other UK dairies — milk price, feed cost, margin over purchased feed, replacement rate. Starter level is included in the on-farm retainer; higher tiers available on a cost-plus basis.
