Dairy nutrition, properly done, looks nothing like a ration printout handed over the gate. It begins with the cow – how she walks, how she lies, how she breathes, how full her rumen sits an hour after feeding, what her manure says about the diet she’s actually eating.
Cowcentric works one-on-one with dairy farmers and their teams across the UK – observation, recorded honestly, turned into an action plan of next steps and followed up at each visit.
What we do, and how
On-farm visits, at least monthly. Forages sampled. Manure scored. Body condition tracked across the lactation. Sheds assessed for heat stress and ventilation. Transition cows watched closely.
For industry, we offer consultancy, insight and support – marketing, product positioning, content generation – to feed manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and ag brands.

Affiliations and accreditations
- RoMS – Registered with the Registry of Mobility Scorers. Independent, audited mobility scoring four times a year on request.
- Galebreaker – Officially affiliated consultant for ventilation assessment and product specification across cow, calf and youngstock housing.
- Kingshay – Dairy Manager partner. Starter-level Dairy Costings included in the on-farm retainer.
