What’s included in the on-farm retainer
The work is connected — what shows up in the ration shows up in the shed; what shows up in the shed shows up in the bulk tank — and the on-farm retainer brings it together in our monthly visits. Every farm on an ongoing consultancy gets, as a minimum:
- Monthly on-farm visits
- Written action list after every visit
- Vet and adviser liaison
- Ration formulation (milking, dry, heifer)
- Phone and email support between visits
- Weekly overview THI reports (May–September)
- Annual heat stress audit (milking and dry cow accommodation)
- RoMS mobility scoring (up to) four times a year, on request
- Six forage samples per year, plus one forage mineral sample
- Annual milk forecast and herd budget, updated through the year as required
- Kingshay Dairy Costings (Starter level)
- Optional direct supply of minerals, supplements and additives — no obligation
